Border Collie Greetings Card and Matching Fudge Gift Box.
Updated: Mar 24
This was the first of our doggie wrapper designs, now transformed into a card as well, with our own border collie Rock, being the inspiration. Having never owned a dog before we got Rock, I have to say, I get it now. The love and unconditional loyalty, their funny little traits that make them who they are are just so special.
Absolutely our best friend (except that time when he ate one of the children's birthday cakes left to cool in the kitchen), and my running buddy too. I can't think about going out for a run without Rock beside me now, it would feel like I'd forgotten my pants or something! Too weird.
As with the previous cards posted on here, this is the same, you can purchase just the one card, or buy as a pack of 2 or 5. This one is available here on our Etsy page. The card is blank inside so that you can use it for pretty much any occasion, special or not, and there's plenty of room for you to write your message inside.
We also have available our collie fudge gift box, which paired with the matching card would make a super gift for anyone (but especially those who own or work with, or just love Border Collies).
We can, if preferred, write your message for you and send the gift and/or card to the
Inside, the recipient will receive a packed to bursting box full of 5 flavours of our handmade, crumbly, melt in the mouth fudge chosen from any of those on our website. If you are unsure then we will put into the box 2 Vanilla, 1 Honey, 1 Salted Caramel Liquour, and 1 Rum and Raisin, in compostable packets. If you'd like to have a peek at our range of fudgy gifts head over to our website and have fun browsing! littlefudgebox
And just because it's becoming a tradition, here are a few random facts you may, or may not have known about The Border Collie:
Did You Know
Dog experts agree that the Border Collie is an intelligent workaholic. They are capable of learning a large number of words and commands and they are happiest when they are put to work everyday.
Their name comes from their home region, on the border of Scotland and England. The word 'collie' is a scotch word for sheepdog, and before that from the Celtic word colley, meaning useful or faithful.
Originally bred to herd sheep, they are famous for using 'the eye', staring intensely at members of the flock to intimidate them.
Widely known as one of the most intelligent dogs, the famous border collie Chaser knows the names of over 1000 objects!
